Iran Press/ Iran news: In an interview with Iran Press on Wednesday, Brigadier-General Abolfazl Shekarchi described Western, Israel, and Saudi media reports of ship hijacking, ship insecurity, piracy in the Oman Sea, and the Persian Gulf as psychological warfare and propaganda show.
"Every drop of blood that is shed unjustly anywhere in the world can be traced back to the United States, Britain, the Zionist regime and the Saudis regime," he added.
Shekarchi also stressed that the Iranian navy has repeatedly stated that it would do its best to ensure shipping and maritime trade security in the region, especially the Oman Sea and the Persian Gulf, and is ready to assist at the request of countries.
About a week ago, news sources reported an attack on a ship in the Oman Sea near the territorial waters of Oman, which was said to have been owned by an Israeli billionaire.
