Two rockets targeted the illegal base of the US-led coalition in Syria’s eastern Deir ez-Zur province on Monday.

Iran Press/Middle East: “Two 107mm rockets targeted Coalition Forces east of Deir ez-Zur, Syria, on Monday at approximately 9 pm local time in Syria,” read a statement from the coalition’s Combined Special Operations Joint Task Force – Levant (SOJTF-Levant).

“Attacks of this kind place Coalition Forces, Partner Forces, and the civilian populace at risk and undermines the hard-earned stability and security of Syria and the region,” SOJTF-Levant spokesperson Jonathan Ferrer said.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) emphasized that none of the American forces or the international coalition were killed, and the infrastructure and equipment of the coalition were not damaged.

The US military and their affiliated terrorist elements have been illegally present in the north and east of Syria for a long time, and in addition to looting the country's oil resources and grains, they are taking actions against the residents and Syrian forces in this region.

The areas under the occupation of the American forces and the militias known as the "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF) under their support in al-Hasakah have always witnessed the protests of Syrian citizens against the terrorist actions of the occupiers and militias against the residents of these areas.

The Syrian government has repeatedly emphasized that these militias and Americans in the east and north-east of Syria have no other purpose than looting oil and their presence is illegal.
