Iran Press/ America: While the Iranian athletics team was supposed to participate in the 2022 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with two athletes, participation in these competitions was canceled due to the non-issuance of visas.
The American authorities had previously refused to issue visas to the Iranian karate team.
This is due to the fact that the host country is responsible for issuing visas to the athletes participating in the competitions.
Mehdi Pirjahan and Ehsan Haddadi were supposed to appear in these competitions, but the US once again did not grant visas to Iranian athletes.
Of course, Haddadi had no problem attending, but because the team will not be sent, he will also be absent.
These competitions will be held in Oregon.
