Iran Press/America: The statement signed by four Jewish Democrats Representatives known for their strong support for Zionist Regime including Eliot Engel and Nita Lowey from New York, Ted Deutch from Florida and Brad Schneider from Illinois did not name Netanyahu, but referred to his pledge on the eve of elections that he would extend all Jewish settlements in the West Bank, even those in remote areas.
Netanyahu won the elections and if he carries out his pledge, then that would diminish the prospects of a contiguous Palestinian state considerably.
The statement signaled a warning from the party’s most pro-Israel wing that retreating from the two-state solution would be catastrophic for efforts to maintain close ties between Democrats and Israel.
There is an emerging argument among Democrats on whether to become more sharply critical of Israel under Netanyahu administration.

"We are greatly concerned by the possibility of Israel taking unilateral steps to annex the West Bank," said the statement released early Friday. The statement shows US representatives great concern about Zionist regime's security after Netanyahu won the election.
“We hope that any security measures are implemented within the context of preserving the eventual possibility of a two-state solution," the statement said.
“This will not be easy, Palestinian leadership has been unwilling to accept any reasonable peace proposal or even to negotiate seriously toward a solution. The Palestinians never miss an opportunity. And instead of negotiating, they have pursued unilateral statehood through the United Nations. Our fear is that such unilateral steps would push the parties farther from a final, negotiated settlement,” it added.
Three of the four hold senior positions in the House caucus: Engel chairs the Foreign Affairs Committee, Lowey chairs the Appropriations Committee and Deutch chairs the Middle East subcommittee and they are known for their strong opposition to the Iran Nuclear Deal in 2015 under Barack Obama administration.
Netanyahu before the April 9 elections said he intended to gradually apply Israeli law to all settlements, and that he hoped he could do so with the agreement of the United States.

Since then, the US has become the subject of a new round of furor by world countries over Trump’s controversial decision.
