Iran Press/ Iran news: With the mediation of Qatar, the Israeli regime and Hamas agreed to a 4-day ceasefire on November 24, last Friday, after about 50 days of war; The ceasefire was extended twice, for two days and one day, respectively.
The Israeli regime violated the ceasefire on Friday and began a new round of attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Iran's MFA Spokesman Nasser Kanaani wrote on his X account on Friday: "After killing more than 15,000 Palestinians, the Zionist vampires have started a new round of killing in Gaza under the continued support of the US government."
The violation of the ceasefire happened minutes before the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken left the Israeli-occupied territories of Palestine.
"The nations and the vast majority of the governments of the world are crying out for the continuation of the ceasefire and the complete cessation of the attacks of the Zionist regime, but the criminal and child-killing Zionists seek a victory by killing civilians, children and women in an illusion that they can compensate for the irreparable defeat."
He said that the political and legal responsibility for the Israeli regime's continual killing of the Palestinian people rests with the US government and its few allies that support the apartheid regime.
