The Deputy Spokesman for the Secretary-General announced that the meeting of the United Nations Security Council regarding the implementation of Resolution 2231 will be held next month.

Iran PressAmerica: On Friday, Linda Thomas Greenfield, the ambassador and permanent representative of the United States to the United Nations, along with the ambassadors of Ukraine, France, the UK and Albania, in fear of military cooperation between Tehran and Moscow, repeated the claim of the use of Iranian drones in the  Ukraine-Russia war.

They claimed that this is in violation of the resolution 2231 by the Security Council.

On the sidelines of the Security Council meeting, along with the ambassadors of Ukraine and three European countries, Britain, France and Albania, the American ambassador claimed that the military cooperation between Iran and Russia will help the continuation of Russia-Ukraine war.

In response to Greenfield's statements, Russia's ambassador to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, told reporters at the United Nations headquarters in New York, that contrary to the claim of the American ambassador regarding the authorities defined in Resolution 2231, it must be said that this resolution does not grant such authorities to a group of experts who do not have the necessary qualifications.

Nebenzia added: "We expect the Secretary General of the United Nations to fulfill his duties and not give in to the pressure of a group of countries."

The representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations also added on Friday: "the speech of the American ambassador at the the United Nations Security Council, on behalf of the United States, Albania, France, Great Britain and Ukraine are a political show to defame Iran in the Ukraine war.
