Ulyanov: Agreement is within reach

Permanent Representative of Russia to International Organizations in Vienna tweeted that the agreement on the possible revival of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) would be within reach.

Iran PressEurope: Permanent Representative of Russia to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov in his latest tweet on Sunday wrote: "Fully agree that we can’t expect the finalization of the #ViennaTalks in the days to come."

He added: "It is almost for sure that we will not be able to clean up the draft final document by the day of the Presidential elections in #Iran (June 18)."

However, he stated: "Nevertheless, an agreement is within reach."

Russia's Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna wrote the tweet in response to a tweet from Iranian journalist Abbas Aslani, quoting Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi after a meeting of the JCPOA Joint Commission:

"Talks will continue in coming days until we can have a full image of a final agreement…We need to have a timetable…We face a complex situation…Verification of US measures has complexities," he said.

Russia's Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna also wrote on his Twitter page yesterday (on Saturday) about the meeting of the Joint Commission of the JCPOA:

The Joint Commission of the #JCPOA opened today the sixth round of the #ViennaTalks. All participants reiterated their determination to bring the negotiations to a successful conclusion. All of us want to do it ASAP, but the quality of an outcome document comes first. pic.twitter.com/oakvhcC3n6
