UAE backs Syria, bin Zayed stressed on phone call with Assad

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi hold telephone call, during which bin Zayed affirmed that the UAE supports the Syrian people during these extraordinary circumstances.

Iran PressMiddle East:  Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan hold telephone call, during which bin Zayed affirmed that the UAE supports the Syrian people during these extraordinary circumstances, saying that Syria will not remain alone in these critical circumstances.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan and Syrian president Bashar al-Assad discussed the coronavirus pandemic over the phone on Friday 27 March, a statement from United Arab Emirates’ news agency reported.

The statement added that both leaders discussed the precautionary measures taken in their countries to face this pandemic, adding that Sheikh Mohammed stressed to Assad that Syria would not be alone in these critical conditions.
