Iran Press/America: A shooter opened fire on multiple people Friday morning at Naval Air Station Pensacola, killing at least two people, authorities said.
The shooter is dead, as well as two other victims, the U.S. Navy has confirmed.
"One additional fatality has been confirmed. Unknown number of injured people being transferred to local hospitals," the US Navy confirmed on Twitter. Less than an hour later, the US Navy confirmed a second fatality. "a second victim has been confirmed deceased," the US Navy confirmed on Twitter before 10 a.m. local time.
This is the second shooting incident on a US Navy base in the last week. On Wednesday two people were killed and one injured after a gunman opened fire before taking his own life at Pearl Harbour military base in Hawaii.
Every year thousands of people lose their lives or get wounded by gunshot attacks. Based on official statistics there are around 270 to 300 million guns in the US, which is almost one gun for every American.
US President Donald Trump is one of the supporters of the gun lobby.
