Iran Press/ Asia: The two leaders discussed the developments in the grain corridor, along with Türkiye's humanitarian aid and energy support to Ukraine, the statement reads.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Volodymyr Zelensky that Türkiye was ready to facilitate and mediate for a lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine.
The efforts on the prisoner exchange will continue, Erdogan said, adding that Ankara could make diplomatic contributions to speed up the handling of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant issue.
Erdogan had a phone talk with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin earlier on Thursday and urged him towards a "unilateral ceasefire," Erdogan's office said.
Ankara and Moscow achieved positive results in the negotiations on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, along with the issues of resuming the grain corridor, prisoner exchange, and the safe zone initiatives regarding the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, Erdogan said.
