Iran Press/ Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iranian state television, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh stated, "We promise the people of Iran to advance space technology and to become stronger day by day so that the country is insured and no one dares to threaten Iran."
The commander said, "The armed forces have to defend the country, and we are all ready, so the people should not worry about anything rather engage in economic activities with peace of mind."
He referred to the launch of Noor satellite into space, saying, "This success is divine grace, and we appreciate the knowledge-based companies, universities, and the Defense Industries' Aerospace Organization, and we honor the memory of Martyr Tehrani Moghadam and his compatriots."
Hajizadeh went on to say: "Without being in space, we are deprived of many capacities in the military and civilian fields, and the fifth dimension of military affairs is to be present in space because, without space, we are not perfect either in defense or civilian dimensions."
"The Noor satellite now works accurately and orbits the Earth every 90 minutes. By placing the satellite in orbit, we overcame very important barriers to technology."
Hajizadeh called the launch of the satellite a Super Project and added: "Every step of building a satellite is a big project."
"Countries that have acquired the knowledge to launch and deploy satellites in orbit have suffered many failures, but our first attempt in this area has been successful, and we can now continue this path more easily."
"We have turned these sanctions into opportunities and made the most of them," he said, referring to the US cruel sanctions against Iran.
"We are now at the forefront in the field of drones, missiles, and defense, and at the top of some of the world's top countries," Hajizadeh concluded.
