Iran Press/Iran news: "11th parliament is the first parliament in the Second Step of the Revolution," the statement read.
Second Step of the Revolution" is a statement that was issued by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to the country, particularly to the youth, and was published in February 2019, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Iranian Revolution.
The statement added: "We will not ignore the special role of the youth and we are committed to doing our best to solve the people's problems."
The statement said: "All people have a duty to follow the Leader's remarks, and we consider the parliament's relationship with other branches to be of the type of interaction and brotherhood."
"Being revolutionary, maintaining independence, moving with the program, and using the capacity of the MPs are the 5 important characteristics guarantee parliamentary success," the statement highlighted.
The MPs went on to say in the statement: "In order to realize the slogan "Parliament is above all affairs", we have to have discipline and priorities."
