Iran Press/ Asia: Ebrahim Raisi, visiting the country at the official invitation of the President of China, met and talked with Li Zhanshu, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, as part of his three-day trip to China.
In this meeting, the President emphasized the importance of the role of parliamentary cooperation in the development process of bilateral cooperation and appreciated the constructive support of the Chinese National People's Congress in advancing the strategic relations between Iran and China.

Raisi referred to Iran and China as friends in difficult times, referring to the appropriate level of friendly relations and historical closeness of the two countries, and emphasized the continuation and strengthening of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Iran and China.
In this meeting, the need to use the capacity of regional and extra-regional mechanisms was emphasized. Further, referring to the achievements of the Chinese National People's Congress in preparing and approving China's development plans and programs, the exchange of experience in this field was emphasized.
