Iran Press/ Iran News: In response to Iran Press, Alireza Kazemi said: "Vaccination of students is also on the agenda of the Health Ministry, and good news will be announced in the coming days, all of which will help us to be able to reopen schools as soon as possible."
"We have tried to create the conditions for attendance from sparsely populated schools according to the standards of the Health Ministry, schools that face larger populations with a combined face-to-face and cyberspace approach, and schools that have a high density of students gradually will begin their activities," he added.
"With the completion of the vaccination of students, the Education Ministry will be able to fully reopen schools across the country," he said.
In a further remark, he stressed that the necessary infrastructure for students and teachers' vaccination and observance of health protocols to reopen schools is already provided.
Highlighting the continuity of education in the country despite the outbreak, Kazemi noted that the necessary plans had been made for the beginning of the school year through the 'Shad' channel, which is trying to unveil a new version in the coming days, with new capabilities and capacities, and to prepare the ground for the gradual presence of students at schools.
Emphasizing that students' health is Education Ministry's red line, he pointed out that school reopening is varied in different parts of the country, depending on the COVID status.
