Iran Press/ Middle East: People from all walks of life gathered in the streets of Aleppo, northwest of Syria, and in a symbolic action held a funeral procession for the Iranian top commander, Lieutenant General Soleimani.
They chanted anti-Israel slogans and set fire on the flags of the Israeli regime, Iran Press reported.
The US drones, under Trump's order, assassinated the Iranians-friendly popular commander General Soleimani and a number of his companions, including the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
United States Department of Defense released a statement, saying the US ordered an airstrike to assassinate the commander of Iran's Quds Force, Lieutenant General Ghasem Soleimani, at Baghdad International Airport on Friday.
On the invitation of the Syrian and Iraqi governments, General Qasem Soleimani went to the related countries to give their armies military consultation in fighting against the US-backed Daesh Terrorist outfit.
