Beirut (IP) - The head of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) said: "The repression of the Bahraini people's revolution continues."

Iran PressMiddle East: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press in Beirut, Baqir Darwish stated: "The government of Bahrain continues with the policy of isolating people and parties."

The head of BCHR complained about medical negligence, torture, ill-treatment and dire situation of the prisoners. 

Darwish emphasized on the immediate release of the prisoners and government's compensation and accountability for the violation of prisoners' rights. 

"Bahraini authorities suppress press freedom, violates people's rights, and condemned hundreds of citizens just for the sake of expressing their opinions and peaceful assembly," stated the head of BCHR.

He stated: "Thousands of Bahraini citizens, journalists, political activists, and academics, have been arrested, sentenced and even deprived of citizenship in the past years."
