Spokesman:

The Sudanese Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have announced the extension of the humanitarian ceasefire for an additional 72 hours, according to a statement by the RSF spokesman.

Iran PressAfrica: The ceasefire was set to expire at midnight.

"We announce an extension of the humanitarian ceasefire for 72 hours starting at midnight," the spokesman said.

Despite continued violations by the Sudanese Armed Forces, the RSF remains committed to the ceasefire regime.

On Thursday evening, conflicting sides reached an agreement on a new humanitarian pause, which was followed by several days of mutual accusations of violating said pause.
