Iran Press/ Iran News: Elaborating on the closed session of the parliament on Sunday, Mohammad-Hossein Farhangi stated that the 25-year comprehensive strategic partnership agreement had been more of a general agreement than an operational and executive one.
He noted that most of the Iran-China strategic agreement was in the form of economic cooperation, and in some parts, it would be implemented through the private sector and would not require parliamentary approval.
The Iranian senior MP added that the sector related to facilities such as monetary, currency, and Chinese investment issues in Iran was being formed within the framework of a general policy, and that policy was to have a look at the East and the West at the same time.
According to the Iran-China strategic document, handing over land and national rights was not in question, and this document was just an agreement to clarify the investment path, Farhangi highlighted.
Regarding the JCPOA, he also said that Iran had been waiting for practical action from the US side, because Washington had taken the lead in suspending its commitments, so it must take action to lift the sanctions and there would be no negotiations between Iran and the US.
