The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, which had adopted constructive positions regarding the Gaza crisis and the rights of the Palestinian people in the past months, summoned the ambassador of the Zionist regime in protest against the attack on Lebanon.

Iran Press/Europe: According to Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country summoned the Israeli ambassador due to Israel's attacks on Lebanon. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia emphasized that Lebanon seems to be becoming another Gaza. 

Slovenian Foreign Minister described the situation as critical and stated: "The reality is that Israel has intensified violence in Lebanon, Gaza, Palestine, the West Bank and expanded military operations."

Tanja Fajon considered these actions to be a violation of international laws and also a disrespect for the order of the International Court of Justice regarding the immediate cessation of violent occupation. The Slovenian Foreign Minister emphasized that his country will do its best to pursue the implementation of international laws and the United Nations Charter.

Slovenia, as the head of the United Nations Security Council, is coordinating an emergency meeting concerning Lebanon.

The Slovenian coalition government has taken very constructive positions since the beginning of the Gaza crisis.

During his recent speech at the UN General Assembly, the Slovenian Prime Minister, by banging on the table, urged the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime to immediately end the atrocities against Palestinians and Lebanese.
