IP - Senior Hamas Leader, Khaled Mashal said the martyrdom of Sinwar will not stop the resistance from achieving the liberation of Palestine.

Iran Press/West Asia: Khaled Mashal, a Senior Hamas official and the head of the movement outside Gaza, in a speech to honor the martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar, the Late Hamas political leader, said: "The Palestinian resistance movement's struggle against the Zionist regime for the liberation of Palestine won't be stopped".

"During the Al-Aqsa storm operation, we lost a large number of resistance leaders in Gaza, in the West Bank, and abroad as well as many people, Meshal said adding that " Hamas always presented its leaders on the path of martyrdom for the liberation of our lands and the freedom of people from the Israeli occupation, started by Ahmed martyrdom of Sheikh Ahmad Yassin, who was assassinated by the Zionist regime in 2004 until martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar.

Meshal said that martyred leaders and commanders are icons of the Palestinian nation, and stressed that the martyrdom of Sinwar will not stop the resistance from its final goal of the liberation from the Zionist occupation. 

"May this martyrdom be blessed", the Hamas leader said, adding that “the martyrs are victorious in the eyes of God” and invoke a great spirit in their movement and nation.

Sinwar becomes the Hamas political leader in August after the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh.

Yahya Sinwar political leader of Hamas was a high-ranking military commander who has been fighting in the besieged Gaza Strip since the October 7 attack.

Yahya Sinwar was chosen as the head of the political bureau of the Hams, and succeeded the martyred commander Ismail Haniyeh, two days after Haniyeh was assassinated in an attack on his residence in the early hours of July 31 in Tehran.
