Iran Press/ Iran news: In his speech on the third anniversary of the martyrdom of former IRGC Quds Forces Commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky said the reason why the US assassinated Iran's top anti-terror general was to dominate the whole Middle East. "The mission not only failed but created more people like Qassem Soleimani and boosted the morals of activists."
Sheikh Zakzaky said: "First of all, I would like to extend my condolences to his eminence, Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the entire people of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the entire people of Iraq as well for the martyrdom of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and other people who were martyred along with them."
When talking about the US failure in its terrorist attack on the Iranian Quds Force Commander, the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria said: "You thought by killing these two icons you would succeed in your acts of terrorism and you hoped to dominate the Middle East, but you have made a grave mistake. The martyrdom of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis has only succeeded in boosting the morals of activists, creating more of his likes, and making his legacy alive not only in our hearts and minds but in our bodies and it will continue to hunt you."
"The funeral of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and the other martyrs has shown you who these people are. You've seen how millions of people participated in their funeral and every day hundreds of thousands visit their resting places to offer prayers."
Sheikh Zakzaky also lambasted some social media for removing his post on the commemoration of the second martyrdom anniversary of Qassem Soleimani. Sheikh Zakzaky described the removal of his last year's post about the martyrdom of Soleimani by Facebook as supporting terrorism.
