Iran Press/Iran news: The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Shamkhani on the sidelines of a conference said: "Our two great achievements are on the one hand, Iran's universities which with the presence of 2000 students, have a potential in the field of compression and on the other hand, this industry cannot be boycotted".
In an exclusive interview with Iran Press reporter, Shamkhani said: "We did not have a space or aerospace industry before the Islamic revolution. During the Iran-Iraq war, the US and Western countries supported the Iraqi side and helped it by taking satellite photographs of Iran and the war front, and so we understood the need for having a well-developed and advanced space industry".
