Iran Press/Iran news: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported the security, stability and territorial integrity of Iraq, and any action," Saeed Khatibzadeh, the Spokesman for the Iran Foreign Ministry said on Friday, noting that “any action that strongly threatens these inviolable principles is strongly rejected.”
Khatibzadeh added: "Iraq is moving in the direction of active internal development and activism and playing a constructive role in the region, but some are trying to prevent the realization of these goals in Iraq through explosions, terrorist acts, inciting insecurity and crisis-creating actions."
He has stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran believes that Iraq, given its capabilities, can pass through these difficult passages.
