Iran Press/America: Meeting with a group of journalists at Tehran's diplomatic mission to the United Nations in New York on Sunday, Mohammad Javad Zarif said that "Hormuz Peace Endeavor" or the idea of the coalition for hope, presented by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is taken seriously by the country.
The foreign minister further said that the peace plan is a shift from buying security from foreigners to relying upon the region's nations and their cooperation for providing security, Iran Press reported.
Without the collaboration, reaching security would be an illusion, added Mohammad Javad Zarif.
He pointed out to some regional countries' childish treatment to avoid 'Persian Gulf' title, noting that until 50 years ago Saudi Arabia used to inserted 'Al-Khalij ul-Farsi' as a header for its official sheets.
Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is in New York, US, to deliver a speech in the UN Headquarter UN annual summit.
