Sanaa (IP) - On Friday morning, officials told the Yemeni Al-Masirah TV network that the Saudi coalition had violated the ceasefire in Yemen 122 times in the last 24 hours.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to the Iran press, citing the Al-Masirah report, the Saudi coalition violated the UN ceasefire by carrying out reconnaissance flights over the provinces of Hodeida, Marib, Jouf, Saada, Dhale, Baydha, and the border operational axes.

The Saudi coalition forces targeted the positions of the army forces and popular committees as well as the houses of Yemeni citizens in Hodeida, Taiz, Marib, Hajjah, Baydha, Najran, and Dhaleh provinces with heavy artillery, rocket, and mortar attacks.

Also, armed reconnaissance UAVs of the Saudi coalition targeted areas in Taiz and Dhale province on several occasions.

The ceasefire in Yemen, which the aggressor Saudi coalition has repeatedly violated, was finally extended for another two months following the UN consultations to renew it.

Earlier, Mahdi Al-Mashat, the head of the  Supreme Political Council of Yemen, announced that the ceasefire in Yemen has almost been destroyed due to repeated violations by the Saudi coalition.

Saudi Arabia, in the form of a coalition of some Arab countries, including the UAE, and with the help and green light of the United States and the support of the Zionist regime, started large-scale attacks against Yemen - the poorest Arab country - from 26 March 2015.

Contrary to the expectations of the Saudis, their attacks hit the strong shield of the resistance of the Yemeni people, and after seven years of persistence and painful strikes by the Yemenis deep into Saudi lands, especially the Aramco facilities, Riyadh was forced to agree to a ceasefire along the hope of getting out of the swamp of war in Yemen.
