11 universities from Iran are present in 2020 ranking, out of which the Khajeh Nasir al-Din Tusi University of Technology has succeeded in gaining the fifth rank among Iranian universities by the international ranking system.

Iran Press/Europe: Moscow- based RUR ranking institute ranked Tehran University of Medical Sciences 222, Isfahan University of Technology 239, University of Tehran 339, Iran’s University of Science and Technology 456, Khajeh Nasir al-Din Tusi University of Technology 470, Noshirvani Babol University of Technology 577, Isfahan University 591, Shahid Beheshti University 596, Kashan University 614, Allameh Tabatabai University 684, and Al-Zahra University 721, respectively.

The criteria for the ranking system include 40% for training, 40% for research, 10% for international diversity and 10% for financial stability allowed for in 20 ranking indicators.

In addition to providing counseling services to universities, RUR ranks the world's top universities in order to enhance their competitiveness in higher education. 101/207
