Iran Press/ Iran News: "I congratulate the people on their choice," said Hassan Rouhani on Saturday. "My official congratulations will come later, but we know who got enough votes in this election and who is elected today by the people."
He went on to say that during the voting process people observed the health protocols by 95 percent and hailed also the Ministry of health for preventing a new peak of the disease during the election.
Rouhani thanked the ones involved in cyberspace affairs to prepare grounds for the election campaigns during the pandemic.
Iran's Elections Headquarters announced on Saturday early morning that the voting process for the presidential election is ended at 2:00 am local time and the counting of votes has begun.
The final results of Iran's presidential election have not yet published officially.
