Iran Press/Middle East: Regarding the approach of the Persian Gulf countries to regional dialogue and cooperation, Mohammad Irani said: "The PGCC countries are not a cohesive, integrated, and intertwined group, and unfortunately, the interventionist actions of some trans-regional parties have been effective in creating distance and portraying fear and distrust within this group."
The Iranian ambassador to Kuwait assessed the lack of trust as an obstacle to the formation of dialogue and cooperation between the region's countries, adding that building trust in the region requires a great deal of effort to achieve a common concept of security and authority.
He recalled the plans presented by Iran to expand regional cooperation in recent years and said: "In the plan of the Hormoz Peace Initiative of Iran, the ways to achieve common concepts and definitions are well described so that neither side has hegemony over the other."
Addressing the countries that want to renegotiate JCPOA with his presence, Mohammad Irani said: "JCPOA is very technical on a specific issue and with the support of international institutions such as the Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency and with the support of UN resolutions, and regional issues have no place in it."
