Iran Press/ Iran News: Seyed Ebrahim Raisi made the remarks while addressing crowds of people in the city of Andimeshk in the Southwestern province of Khuzestan.
He stated that Iran is making progress despite foreign threats, stressing that the existing problems will certainly be resolved by the Iranian people themselves not foreigners.
The president added that the government, in cooperation with the people, is making efforts to advance the country’s progress in economic, social, and cultural fields, despite foreign pressures.
Iran's president said that measures are underway to both nullify and lift sanctions against Tehran.
"Iran has a bright future ahead and the enemy would not be successful in its attempts to create hopelessness and pessimism," Raisi stressed.
The Raisi administration emphasizes that Tehran does not tie the ordinary life of people to external factors. The president stresses that Iran never left the negotiating table with world powers, but his administration will not tie the country’s economy to its fate.
"Iran’s progress and economy would never be kept back on account of other people’s smiles and scowls," he had stated in mid-August.
"We will not tie people's livelihood with any external factor and will diligently pursue solving the problems of the country and people," the Iranian president reaffirmed.
The president stressed that the government will continue the work seriously despite the harsh sanctions.
