Qom (IP) - Qom Grand Publishing and Printing of Holy Quran provides publishing and binding services to the Islamic countries in the Persian Gulf, Central Asia, the Balkans, West Asia, and other countries famous in the printing industry as Lebanon.

Iran PressIran News: The Grand Publication of Qom, south of Tehran, is recognized as the second great Publisher across the Muslim world and the west of Asia, founded in 1990.

The Managing Director of Qom Publishing, Naser Babamohammadi, told Iran Press correspondent the Publishing House started its work by printing over 10 million volumes of Quran in different sizes and applications along with the different services it provides today.

Quran reciting sessions are more common during Ramadan month than in other months. The services provided by the publishing and printing center in Qom have become further important to the Islamic countries.

Qom is of a special status in the Islamic world due to the education of foreign seminarians from different parts of the Islamic world and religious sites, particularly the holy Shrine of Hazrat Masoumah (AS), the sister of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Imam of the world's Shia.
