Iran Press/ Middle East: In a telephone conversation with Iran's new Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian on Friday, the Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Muhammed Bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani stressed the bilateral ties between the countries and invited the Iranian new minister to visit Qatar.
The newly-appointed Amir-Abdollahian, for his part, stressed the implementation of the previous agreement between the two countries and announced Iran's readiness for consultation over regional and international issues.
Iraqi FM Fuad Hussein also congratulated his Iranian counterpart over the appointment and stressed the presence of Iran in the Baghdad Forum as an opportunity for dialogues in the region. 219
