West Asia (IP): Qatar and Kuwait have issued directives to the United States, prohibiting the use of their bases and airspace for any potential military action against Iran.

The move comes amidst reports that Iran is set to retaliate against Israel for a missile strike on its diplomatic premises in Damascus early this month.

Qatar and Kuwait have communicated to the United States that they will not allow the use of their bases for actions against Iran, according to the Arab Defense website.

Furthermore, the Persian Gulf countries have prohibited any use of their airspace by the US for potential military operations against Iran.

US military aircraft are stationed at the Ali Al Salem Air Base and the Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait, as well as the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, which is the largest US airbase in the Middle East. 204
