Iran Press/ Europe: During the telephone conversation, Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan congratulated each other on the 25th anniversary of signing the bilateral Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance.
They emphasized the importance of this document that formalized the high-priority aspects of interstate relations and helped elevate traditionally friendly Russian-Armenian cooperation to a whole new level. Vladimir Putin and Nikol Pashinyan reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthen the all-around allied ties between Russia and Armenia.
Putin and Pashinyan touched on certain practical aspects of implementing the trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan of November 9, 2020, and January 11 and November 26, 2021, that have key significance in maintaining stability and security in the region.
