Iran Press/Europe: The two presidents 'thoroughly discussed the Syria issue in light of agreements to form a constitutional committee that the leaders of Russia, Turkey, German and France had reached in Istanbul on October 27, 2018,' Iran press reported.
Besides, the presidents of Russia and France wished each other a happy new year, the Kremlin press service added.

The last summit between Russia's Vladimir Putin, Iran's Hassan Rouhani and Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan took place in Iran on September 7.
In a joint statement, the participants at the Tehran summit said the Syria crisis could only be resolved through a negotiated political process, and has no military solution.
