Iran Press/ Iran news: Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Saudi Arabia, Alireza Enayati, met with President Ebrahim Raisi on Monday before his departure to Riyadh.
In this meeting, Raisi emphasized the approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran in developing and consolidating relations with its neighbors.
President Raisi mentioned Iran and Saudi Arabia as two influential countries in the region and the World of Islam and called for the use of existing capabilities to develop relations between Tehran and Riyadh.
The President said, "Iran-Saudi cooperation and the increase of regional countries' cooperation in bilateral and multilateral dimensions and in the field of issues of the World of Islam at both governmental and public levels will raise the position of the countries of the region in regional and global equations and limit the scope of foreign interventions".
