Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking on Tuesday in the meeting of the administrative council of Pardis city, Ebrahim Raisi stressed the need for an elite town along with the quantitative and qualitative development of Pardis Science and Technology Park.
The President added: "The campus has the capacity to become the most important science and technology park along with the elite town." Referring to the problems of Pardis city in the field of infrastructure, Raisi said: "Pardis' infrastructure has not been developed in proportion to the population of this city, so it is necessary to first get a full understanding of the current situation of this city and then achieve the goals with proper planning."
The President, who was informed about the city's problems during a face-to-face conversation with the people during his visit to the campus, continued: "The urban infrastructure in Pardis, including water, power, gas, and wastewater are required to be looked into and resolved with priority." Referring to stopping those who take advantage of the land, the President added: "Do not allow traders to seize land and turn it into a tool for profit and illegal acquisition of property."
Raisi also stressed the need to pay attention to environmental issues in Pardis city and said: "Environmental rules must be observed because economic development is a branch of environmental protection."
In another part of his speech, the President stated that there is a serious shortcoming in the construction sector in Pardis, which must be compensated immediately, adding: "Delays, especially the problems of the 14,000 people who are waiting for the completion of their housing units, should be compensated immediately."
Raisi pointed out: "The government is determined to construct 4 million housing units in 4 years in the national movement for housing construction, and the necessary measures have been taken in this regard."
