Iran Press/Iran news: Hassan Rouhani was welcomed by Supreme Leader’s Representative and Gorgan’s Friday Prayer Imam, Kalaleh’s Friday Prayer Imam, Governor General of Golestan Province and senior local officials upon arrival.
Speaking at the airport, Rouhani congratulated the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, saying, “We thank God for being able to be the guest of the people of Golestan during these days”, Iran Press reported.
“In this two-day visit, we will listen to people’s demands, look into the progress of projects and make the necessary decisions for further development of the province,” he continued.
He is scheduled to address people of the province in Gonbade Kavoos’ Takhti Stadium in an hour. 101/202
