Iran Press/ Iran News: The CICA summit is a platform for enhancing cooperation toward promoting peace, security, and stability in Asia.
Speaking to journalists before leaving Tehran, Iran President Ebrahim Raisi stated that the country attaches great importance to cooperation with Asian countries.
He noted that the cooperation between Iran and Central Asian countries would bring peace, stability, and security to the region.
The Iranian president pointed out that CICA creates a good opportunity for regional countries.
He highlighted that Iran pursues cooperation with regional and extra-regional organizations and institutions according to its adopted neighborhood policy.
"With the CICA meeting, we can establish a good relationship with the economic infrastructure of Asia," Raisi said.
He noted that he would meet with the heads of state of the participating countries on the sidelines of the CICA.
