South Khorasan (IP) - Iran's President says what forced the enemies of Iran to withdraw was the Iranian nations' resistance and conformity with the Islamic Republic.

Iran PressIran News:  Delivering a speech in Ferdows city of South Khorasan, east of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi said on Wednesday that the Iranian nation's resistance against the enemies' maximum pressures made them come to terms with the realities about Iran.

Raisi stressed that the solution to Iran's challenges must be sought within the country, not abroad, examining Afghanistan, which was occupied for 20 years under the pretext of fighting terrorism and left 35,000 Afghan children maimed.

He said that the enemies sought to collapse Iran's economy and stop its production, but despite the malice, Iran increased its production and the manufacturing of equipment to produce goods and grew its economy, referring to the admission of the White House spokesperson that the 'Maximum Presser' policy against Iran was failed.

President Raisi recalled that leaders of many countries, including those who visited Iran, have expressed their surprise over the advances of the country despite the harsh sanctions, noting that the achievement was thanks to Imam Hussain's (AS) self-sacrifices and the martyrs who followed his path.

He highlighted the occasion of Arbaeen and the goal of Imam Hussain (AS), which was to liberate the people from the darkness of ignorance:"Imam Hussain (AS) sought to save the society from ignorance so that the people would become rational, contemplative, and thoughtful, while the ill-wishers and arrogant powers throughout history have been seeking to surf on the ignorance of societies, so they are always against removing ignorance from the societies."

Raisi said that the development of communication and information technologies must not deceive the nations that they are serving the people to come out from ignorance, but they are arrogant powers' means of hegemony such that wherever they see a media uncovering the truth, they block it immediately.
