Tehran (IP): In a message condemning the recent crimes of the Zionist regime, the chief of staff of the Iranian Armed Forces stressed the need to create a strong strategic coalition to resolve the Palestinian issue.

Iran Press/Iran news: In this message, Maj. Gen. Mohammad Bagheri condemned the crimes of the occupying regime in Quds against the Palestinians and the martyrdom of a group of Palestinians in the brutal attack of Zionist militants on Al-Aqsa Mosque and other parts of the occupied territories, stressing the need to create a truly strategic coalition to resolve the Palestinian issue.

The brutal crimes of the child-killing Zionist regime in the occupied territories and Holy Quds these days, and the massacre of a large number of the oppressed, innocent, and resilient people of Palestine have saddened the world, especially the Islamic Ummah, he added in the statement.

Bagheri noted: "The balance of power has changed in favor of Palestine more than ever. Undoubtedly, the criminal actions of the evil Zionist regime have led to more unity of the oppressed Palestinian people and more faith in resistance and endurance for the final victory. At this time, the Muslim nations and the oppressed people of Palestine will never forget the normalization of relations of some Arab countries with the usurper and child-killing regime of Israel."

Occupied Quds and some other Palestinian cities have witnessed a large presence of Palestinian worshipers during the holy month of Ramadan, especially in the last two weeks, when Israeli forces attacked the Al-Aqsa mosque and its surroundings. More than 700 Palestinians have been injured in the clashes so far.

A new round of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip began on Monday.
