Erbil (IP) – an exclusive exhibition of Iranian products opens in Iraq's Kurdistan region in Erbil city

Iran Press/ Middle East: Morteza Ebadi, Iran's Consul General to Erbil and Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government spokesperson Sefin Dizayi attended the opening ceremony of Iran Expo on Tuesday in Erbil.

Introduction of Iranian products have an important role in developing Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan trade relations, Iran's Consul General to Erbil told in Iranian and local officials and merchants, Iran Press reported.

Officials from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and Islamic Republic’s consulate hope it would reinforce bilateral ties and bring more prosperity for both sides.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Erbil Governor General Nozad Hadi referred to good relations between Iraqi Kurdistan and Islamic Republic of Iran, saying that bilateral ties are of the ascending order.

He also described Erbil Exhibition as a solid sign of improving economic relations between KRG and Iran.

Iranian production expo will run from 11 to 15 June in Erbil Permanent Fairground.

More than 300 Iranian company showcased their various commodities and new productions.
