Iran Press/ Iran news: At the end of his three-day visit to Russia and upon his arrival at Tehran International Mehrabad Airport, President Pezeshkian explained the plans and achievements of this visit.
Pezeshkian, noting the important tasks of BRICS, stressed: "Security, economic and social issues, people's participation, and finally financial issues were the most important issues that were discussed at the BRICS summit."
Emphasizing that participation in the BRICS and BRICS Plus summits brought good achievements, the Iranian president said that this was the first BRICS summit where Iran was present as a new and real BRICS member.
During the BRICS summit in Russia, the Iranian president noted the presence of 30 observer countries and 6 international organizations. He stated, "BRICS aims to challenge the United States' unilateralism concerning the dollar, as this country can manipulate any nation whenever it chooses."
He pointed out that the US wants to impose sanctions and add to the world's economic problems.
