Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking to students and teachers at Tehran's Allame Helli high school on Sunday, Mohammad Javad Zarif said: "Today, the Islamic republic of Iran speaks from a position of strength, not from a position of weakness. This is because we have made the right choices in the past. We chose to oppose Daesh and al-Nusra front terrorists. We have opposed the war in Yemen. The United States on the other hand has made all the wrong choices in the past."
In further comments Zarif said: "We made the best choices but the US made bad choices and that is the reason for Washington's many failures. Today many countries, Russia and China in particular, are going to eliminate the dollar from their trade with other countries, and from their monetary system."
"You as students should think about solutions. The first stage is thinking and analysis, and you should certainly think freely, think about all aspects of the problem, and do not censor yourself. Then come the action stage, where we have to implement policies."
In his speech to a young audience, Zarif advised high school students: "You should not have red lines in thinking, and that is an excellent way."
He added: "The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei once told me to express my opinions freely, even if my opinion is exactly opposite of his. The Leader said he likes to know my opinion."
