Srinagar(IP)-The people of Srinagar, the center of Indian-controlled Kashmir, by holding a rally on World Quds Day, supported the Palestinians and emphasized the freedom of the first Qibla of Muslims.

Iran PressAsia: The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan is called International Quds Day. The day when, with the initiative of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini, the conscience of the world was awakened to the issue of Palestine and Al-Quds.

Millions of people are taking part in the International Quds Day rallies across the world to show their solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians and denounce Israeli atrocities and acts of aggression against Palestinian people in the occupied territories.

In the ceremony, which was held with the presence of a large number of Muslims and freedom seekers from different areas of Srinagar city, especially Budgam, the participants called for the continuance of withstanding and resistance against the Israeli regime until the complete liberation of Al-Quds.
