Israeli media reported on Saturday a shooting operation in the "Nachalat Binyamin" neighborhood in "Tel Aviv" that left one Israeli settler killed.

Iran PressMiddle East: Earlier, the media cited the Zionist regime police commissioner Kobi Shabtai as saying that a municipal security guard was critically injured in a shooting on "Montefiore Street" in "Tel Aviv" on Saturday afternoon.

The Zionist regime Army Radio also indicated that one of the injured was in a hopeless situation.

Shabtai indicated that another security guard chased the shooter and shot him before the latter was transferred to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Shin Bet identified the shooter as 22-year-old Palestinian Kamel Abu Bakr from the town of Rummanah, near Jenin, who had been pursued by the Zionist regime security establishment for allegedly opening fire at the Zionist forces in the occupied West Bank.

The Zionist regime TV Channel 13 indicated that the operation was surprising for the police and the Shin Bet, especially since it took place on Saturday at a time when that area was witnessing a huge number of settlers getting ready for the anti-judicial overhaul protests for the 31st week in a row.

Such operations by Palestinians are taking place in response to daily attacks by the Zionist regime forces and illegal settlers on innocent and unarmed people in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
