In the last 2 years, two neighboring countries opened 2 new border crossings and the number of their official borders reached 3, one of the goals of which is to help facilitate trade and use each other's capacities to improve the lives of border residents.
In Islamabad, Shahbaz Sharif met with a high-ranking delegation from the Balochistan province, including the Minister of Defense Production, the Minister of Energy, and representatives of the National Assembly from two parties, the Awami Party of Balochistan and the National Party of Balochistan in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister's Office of Pakistan issued a statement and announced: "In this meeting, Sharif emphasized the importance of the development of Baluchistan province and demanded the increase of relations between this border province with Iran."
The Prime Minister of Pakistan added that the development of Balochistan is the priority of the Islamabad government and for this purpose his country is determined to strengthen bilateral cooperation with Iran in the field of trade and border development. 219
