Iran Press/Iran news: The Pakistani top diplomat plans to discuss a range of issues, including ways to boost Tehran-Islamabad relations as well as the latest regional and international developments, with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif.
Earlier in the day, Qureshi visited the Afghan capital on the first leg of his four-nation tour and met with his Afghan counterpart Salahuddin Rabbani and President Ashraf Ghani, Iran Press reported.
In these meetings, the Pakistan foreign minister pledged his country's continued efforts to bring the Taliban to the negotiating table with the national unity government.
On 30 November, Pakistan Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi underscored the need for further promotion of bilateral relations with Iran.
