Tehran (IP)- Iran's oil minister, Javad Owji, described crude exports as "favorable" during talks with reporters on Wednesday. Despite facing "harsher" sanctions, Owji stated that oil products and exports were increasing.

Iran PressIran News:  He attributed this growth to promoting energy diplomacy and strengthening relations with Asian, African, and Latin American countries, which has allowed Iran to tap into new markets for its oil.

The minister also highlighted that international institutes monitoring oil exports have reported a surge in Iran's output and exports.

According to a recent Reuters report citing consultants, shipping data, and an anonymous source familiar with the matter, Iran's crude exports and oil production have reached record highs in 2023 despite U.S. sanctions. This increase in supply comes at a time when other producers are limiting their output.

Regarding Iraq's gas debts owed to Iran, Owji stated that they would be collected through various methods. The minister emphasized that there are no limitations on collecting these debts, stating that they can be settled through cash payments, bank drafts, or even bartering products.
