He required immediate medical attention as players from both teams frantically waved for medical personnel, and he was eventually taken off the field in an ambulance and transported to the hospital.
Barcelona lie in second place in the table with 69 points, with a top-four spot secured for the Catalan side. Meanwhile, Celta Vigo lie in 11th place with 43 points. Without the threat of relegation and with no chance of qualifying for Europe next season, the Galician side will want to finish the season in the best possible way.
