Iran Press/ Iran News: On the sidelines of "Winter Fuel Usage" meeting with ministers of Oil and Energy Bijan Zanganeh and Reza Ardakanian, held at the Ministry of Interior, Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli stressed the pressure on the people due to the economic challenges caused by the US sanctions, coronavirus, and the continuous threats.
Rahmani-Fazli added: "The fuel shortages in the winter may cause other challenges for people at this time."
Rahmani-Fazli noted that every single individual must take care of optimal, especially household, consumption.
"Any vehicle mainly lorries lacking "Vehicle Inspection" must be banned to commute in the cities," he said.
"Each province is obliged to regulate its fuel consumption based on its climatic conditions and air pollution to decrease its fuel usage," Iran's interior minister added.
"Islamic Republic of Iran's Broadcasting (IRIB) is also playing a key and coordinating role to inform people on optimal consumption by news, report, or clips," said Rahmani-Fazli.
"The Oil, Energy ministries and Department of Environment are also asked to produce any optimal consumption advertisements and films to inform people," he stated.
Rahmani-Fazli expressed hope that the tough period will pass with cooperation.
